1. Contents of Disk Package
----------------------------------------------
This disk package contains the following files

    Simpleid.EXE		Compiled sample program for dos

    Simpleid.c			Source code for the sample program

2. Hardware and Software Requirement
------------------------------------
This software is to be used with the ACSR10/20 Smart Card Reader 
and AC_IIC memory card. With the smart card reader connected to 
the computer's serial port, user can use the program to do 
read/write operation to AC_IIC memory card through the smart 
card reader.

The sample program, Simpleid.EXE, is written specifically for DOS 6.2
environment.

3. Installation Notes
---------------------
The program has a default installation procedure with the package setup

4. Compilation Notes
---------------------
User can try to compile the source themselves to get the executable
file. Either Borland C or Microsoft C can be used to compile the source
code. User has to create a new project and add both the source code 
and required .lib file. The application output platform should be set 
to DOS STANDARD (small memory modal) and set the compiler's directory
search path to include directory where the file ACSR20.H is 
located.

6. User's Guide
----------------
The program assumes that the reader is connected to COM2. If the reader
is not connected to COM, then it will automatically check for COM1. If
both COMs are not avaliable, then there will be an error and program
will be terminated consequently. 

   The followings are the configuration of keys avaliable in the program:
   A-Z         : Alphabet Character Set
   Backspace   : Move Cursor Left
   Space       : Move Cursor Right + Delete the Current Character
   Up          : Tab Upward
   Down        : Tab Downward
   Left        : Move Cursor Left
   Right       : Move Cursor Right
   Tab         : Tab Downward
   F5          : Update Memory Card
   ESC         : Quit the Application Program
